CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
REFORMER
The Reformer
is a user-friendly apparatus which places the body in a non-weight bearing supine position. It emphasizes the use of CORE to pull the body’s weight on a spring loaded carriage. This action automatically centers you, developing balance, coordination, and body/space awareness as it strengthens and stretches your entire body, not just one set of isolated muscles.
*Jump boards can be used on the Reformer for a cardio workout!

TOWER
The Tower
provides a base of support for balance and stability while developing coordination, strength and flexibility. The tower’s spring system allows for a greater range of motion than the reformer. This equipment enhances awareness of musculature imbalances and assists in developing an aligned and uniform body.

CHAIR
The Chair Class
increases flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. This fresh and fun work out re-energizes the Pilates group experience with personal training and intelligent exercise. It appeals to both men and women and can be modified or varied according to ability. A great way to restore muscle balance, movement efficiency and build endurance!

JUMPBOARD
Looking for a ‘change of pace’ in your aerobic workout? Try what NASA offered astronauts in the 1960’s - The Pilates Jump Board.  This training helped them to control their bodies in a weightless environment.The spring resistant carriage will propel you to new heights for an abdominal, leg and arm workout while staying fixed and controlled on your spine. This is core control in its most mindful and invigorating way!
