
The Yoga/Pilates center is located in the center of the FCC facility and is the temple of our club. We offer 30 mat classes a week as well as 15 Pilates Equipment classes and are very proud of our amazing staff of leading Yoga and Pilates professionals in the area. The Pilates Equipment room is the most equipped studio in Fort Collins and offers the best rates in the nation for members and non-members alike.
These methods of body conditioning strengthen and tone muscles while simultaneously increasing flexibility and balance, giving the body a long, lean shape. Yoga and Pilates are techniques of movement that are the most efficient, natural and pain free ways to play and live productively. Yoga and Pilates techniques have been recognized as superior conditioning programs for all athletic activities. We offer a variety of programs catering to the needs of our members. CHAIR
The Chair Class increases flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. This fresh and fun work out re-energizes the Pilates group experience with personal training and intelligent exercise. It appeals to both men and women and can be modified or varied according to ability. A great way to restore muscle balance, movement efficiency and build endurance!
YOGA 1 - INTRODUCTORY LEVEL YOGA CLASS
Explore the fundamentals of yoga, breathing techniques, basic poses and modifications. Props such as blocks, straps, and blankets are sometimes used for modified expressions of the postures. Breathing techniques are emphasized. The student is encouraged to honor his/her degree of flexibility and strength when practicing the postures.
YOGA 2 - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL YOGA CLASS
Builds on the skills learned in Yoga 1 where movements evolve. Students continue to honor their degree of flexibility as they move deeper into poses. Learn a deepened asana practice, become more aware of structural adjustments and integrate yoga philosophy to promote development of your yoga practice. Please attend with a basic knowledge of asana, pranayama and meditation.
Pilates All Levels
The Pilates Training Method is an integrated series of fluid movements that are beneficial for all ages and abilities. It is designed to condition the entire body, using positions and movements that simulate functional activities. Through strengthening and stretching, the body is brought into alignment while the core is activated and the spine is supported. You will strengthen what is weak and stretch what is strong. Learning how the body is designed to move will help you keep musculature and bone structure in an optimal state, promoting movement with more freedom and less stress.

PILATES 1
Introductory level, you will explore the fundamentals of Pilates, breathing techniques, basic classical movements and modifications. Modified variations of the exercises will be used as well as props to assist in refining technique. This class will assist in heightening your body awareness and teach you how to incorporate Pilates training into your lifestyle and fitness activities. Focusing on specific muscles which address core areas will enable the rest of the body to function efficiently.
