CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 
Balance Training
Exercises to increase leg and ankle muscles. Balance equipment will be used
Be Bad Hip-Hop
Hip-Hop dance moves to Top 40 and old school music. "Sweat, Smile, & Shake your Booty" BE BAD!
Bodyshapers Plus
60 minutes focusing on strengthening the major muscle groups using weights, bands, and body bars ,followed by an optional  30 minutes of hi- low aerobics.
Cardio Kickboxing
Kickboxing choreography with kicks and punches to high energy music.
Chair Assisted Low Impact Aerobics
Low Impact aerobics uses a chair throughout the class. Strengthening exercises will be added for a cardio/strength workout.

Circuit
Strength and endurance exercises that are in a station setting or exercises in various interval sessions.
Club X
A cross-training class using the cross-training method and periodization achieved through switching order of exercises and varied movements.  The class is in the gymnasium.
Dance Fusion
Free-style, non-impact dance, with a flair of yoga, tai-chi, martial arts and mind-body connection.  All fitness levels welcome.

FCC ClubFit
CrossFit (TM) methods are used in this class which transforms workouts into sport through constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements. Level 1 Mondays 9:15am, Level 2&3 Wednesdays,Fridays 9:15am. All-Levels Wednesday 5:15pm and Satrudays 8:30am. Meets in the gymnasium
FCC Box-Fit
Boxing drills and strength conditioning in a circuit training format.  Must bring own hand wraps. Meets in gymnasium.

Interval Step
45-50 minutes of step choreography mixed with strength conditioning exercises using body bars, hand weights and resistance tubing.
Low Impact
This class focuses on keeping one foot on the floor at all times. You get a vigorous workout without the impact on your joints.
Group Power
This barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in a motivating environment. With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls. Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels.
NIA
NIA offers a mind-body cardio workout through a fusion of jazz, modern dance, martial arts and tai chi.  Great for all fitness levels.
Power Sculpt
Muscle-specific exercises to improve endurance, strength and flexibility of upper-and lower-body muscle groups. Resistance work, standing and floor exercises for an overall body workout (some cardio may be included).
Silver Splash™
A total body aqua conditioning  class that increases agility, range of motion and cardiovascular conditioning using the Silver Sneakers TM kickboard.
Step Aerobics
30-40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise using steps; also includes strength conditioning.
Step Explosion
45- 50 minutes of advanced step choreography.
Step Interval
Basic step choreography with strength exercises to give an overall cardio/strength workout.
Step and Strengthen
50 minutes of warm up and step routines, 45 minutes of upper and lower body strength and endurance training
The Three B’s
Using bars, bands and stability balls, a half hour is all you need for this class that strengthens upper and lower body as well as abdominals and core stability.
Water Aerobics
The water provides a great workout for aerobic and muscular skeletal conditioning. Protects joints from the impact of traditional aerobics.
Zumba TM
A cardio class that uses latin music and latin dance moves for a fun workout. A class for all levels.
