The new schedule includes more times for Spin, Pilates, Group Power, and Yoga, as well as an array of entirely new classes and routines.

Starting in October, Fort Collins Club members will have the choice to enroll in two different Group Power classes on Saturdays. The 9:45am class will continue to operate as scheduled while a 12:15pm class will become available. The power classes are each lead by a two-person personal trainer team. The program is taught by a variety of the personal trainer staff available at Fort Collins Club, and is broken down into three separate lifting routines, ranging from beginner to intermediate and advanced. The program is meant to be both challenging and fun, and will last from October 9th-November 14th. The enrollment cost is $10 and space is limited, those who are interested should inquire for more information at the Fort Collins Club front desk.

Sports and Health Club, Fort Collins Club, Remodels Locker Room and Group Fitness Room

FORT COLLINS, CO -- Aug 13, 2012 - Fort Collins Club, a sports and health club located in northern Colorado, is pleased to announce that it has begun remodeling the men's and women's locker rooms. The remodel, which began August 3rd, is planned to finish on August 27th. The locker rooms are still accessible for the time being, as currently Fort Collins Club is only remodeling one locker bay per room a week. The club will also be installing brand new flooring in both the men's and women's locker rooms. Installing the new flooring necessitates both locker rooms being entirely closed for the duration of the installation. This closing also includes the vanity, restroom, shower and steam room areas of the locker rooms.

In order to minimize inconvenience, Fort Collins Club has scheduled the flooring installation to occur from August 18th to August 27th, during the first week of school when fewer members typically use the Club. Items in lockers must be removed before August 17th. Staff members will remove any locks or personal items left behind. Fort Collins Club cannot guarantee that any removed items will be returned to their original owners.

Locker rooms will be closed for the duration of the flooring installation, which will begin Saturday August 18 and end Sunday, August 26, 2012. Gym-goers will be provided with alternate changing rooms to minimize inconvenience. Women will be able to use the conference room in the cardio area and men will use racquetball court 4. The sports and health club would also like to remind its members that there is an additional shower area in the family changing area (located by the outdoor pool) that will be available for use.

In addition to remodeling the flooring in both locker rooms, Fort Collins Club has also refinished the flooring in the group fitness room. The refinishing, which took place over the weekend of August 11th, was done in effort to make the room more appealing in addition to having a floor that was more conducive to group fitness workouts. Classes in the room resumed on August 13th.

Fort Collins Club stands among the leading gyms in Northern Colorado. Not only are they renowned for their stellar facility and customer service, but also for their extremely personalized workout plans and group fitness classes for their members. A rock climbing wall, salon and pool are just some of the additional features available for member use. The sports and health club can be contacted by phone at 970-224-2582 or website at www.fortcollinsclub.net.

Fort Collins Club Offers New Classes for Health Club Members

FORT COLLINS, CO-- Jun 25, 2012 - Fort Collins Club, a leading health club in northern Colorado, is pleased to announce the debut of new fitness classes including Zumba, U-Jam and a summer mat schedule. The new mat schedule adds convenience for members. Zumba and U-Jam are new class offerings that fuse music, dance and a high-energy workout.

Todd Heenan, owner and General Manager of Fort Collins Club explains, "Our members have responded very positively to all of our classes and Zumba and U-JAM are no different. Every time I've seen someone walk out of Zumba or U-JAM classes they have a huge smile on their face. That's what it's all about to me -- helping people discover their passions and relieve stress while they get fit."

Zumba is a Latin dance inspired class that incorporates dance and music elements from several genres, ranging from hip-hop and salsa to martial arts and belly dance. Zumba sessions are usually about an hour long and are led by licensed instructors that could also be a personal trainer. Zumba is an excellent choice for body toning, as it requires the engagement of multiple muscle groups. Due to the fun atmosphere of the classes, Zumba has also been hailed as a fantastic way to de-stress, as some even describe it as "therapy."

Another fun class offering at the Fort Collins Club is brought to you by certified instructor and personal trainer Diana Wood. U-JAM Fitness is the latest fitness craze in California and she's bringing it to the health club. Like Zumba, U-JAM is a fitness class choreographed to music. However, it is mainly a combination of hip hop, Bollywood, Latin, and world beats. The world music will inspire those who are passionate about travel and culture.

Fort Collins Club also unveiled their new yoga and Pilates classes mat schedule for the summer which offers on average five classes a day. Sunday yoga classes are now offered at 4 pm. Pilates classes focus on physical fitness and relaxation primarily through core bodybuilding and flexibility. Egoscue is a restorative type of Pilates that can help those coming off a recent injury by focusing on balance, pain management, and restoring lost function in a manner that prevents future injury.

Having trouble deciding which class to pick? Come try out the Fort Collins Club and sample them all. For more information on the new summer Zumba, U-JAM, Yoga and Pilates classes, or even a personal trainer class session, call Fort Collins Health Club at 970.224.CLUB, or find the class schedules online at www.fortcollinsclub.net.

FORT COLLINS CLUB FITNESS CENTER OFFERS RELIEF TO HIGH PARK FIRE VICTIMS, NORTHERN COLORADANS

FORT COLLINS, Colo., June 14, 2012 -- With the High Park Fire looming near, the Fort Collins Club fitness center is reaching out to fire victims and to northern Coloradans in general. Fort Collins Club let a local camp use its facilities after an evacuation, is hosting free Zumba class event for the Red Cross, and is reaching out to northern Coloradans for support online. Todd Heenan, Owner and General Manager of the Fort Collins Club, says, "Fort Collins Club is doing whatever we can to assist the victims of the High Park Fire and the Fort Collins community as a whole. Fort Collins is our namesake and we are always looking for ways to give back to the community that has given us so much."

The Fort Collins Club offered their facilities to 150 campers from the Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp a place to shower after they were evacuated from their camp on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. The camp was evacuated by fire officials when the High Park Fire was dangerously close to their main site 55 miles west of Fort Collins. After a long day of packing, evacuating and driving, the campers were very thankful for an opportunity to clean up. The campers have since been moved to another church camp in the area. They spent the night at Trinity Lutheran Church by Spring Canyon Park.

Spring Canyon Park will also be the location of Fort Collins Club's upcoming free Zumba class on June 20, 2012 from 6:30-8:30 pm. Those interested in participating should meet before the fitness programs scheduled start time at the Northwest Pavilion area. Donations are optional, but those who can give are encouraged to help with disaster relief for the High Park Fire, as well as countless crises around the world by making a donation to support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. These monetary gifts enable Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance in response to disasters.

Fort Collins Club fitness center has also given thanks to those helping with the fire and promoted other charitable events, in addition to scheduled fitness programs, through their large Internet presence. With 1,100 Facebook followers, the health club posted information on their wall about the "9 Cares Colorado Shares" events this Saturday, June 16 at King Soopers locations in Fort Collins and Loveland in benefit of the Red Cross, Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation and the Larimer County Food Bank. In addition, the health club has a blog that averages at 30 views a day where they have posted blogs that raise awareness about exercising safely in the currently poor air quality conditions outdoors.

Those interested in learning more about the Fort Collins Club fitness center and their community-minded efforts, fitness programs or the health club in general can visit www.fortcollinsclub.net or call 970-224-2582.
